"Save The ChiChi's" - Tutorial (FTU Kit)


This tutorial was written on Monday 5th November 2012 by Mystery Designs. It was written in PSP X2 and assumes a good, working knowledge of the program. **Supplies Needed**

Tube – by Tony T called “Patricia” which you can purchase HERE

Kit - “Check Your ChiChi's” by Tasha HERE

Template - “bc-5” by Addictive Addicts HERE

Mask - “WSL_Mask62” by Weescotslass HERE

Font Used – Wizards Magic



**Plugins**

Xero – Porcelain
Xero – Iridium
Penta.com – Jeans




Open your tube
Shift+d to duplicate
Close the original

Open the template
Shift+d to duplicate
Close the original

Delete layer “Raster12”

Image – Resize – 80%
Make sure “all layers” is checked
This should give you a tag size of 600x600 pixels

Highlight layer “Background”

Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “mask”

Grab your Floodfill Tool


Change your Foreground to #e58bae and your Background to #ffe3ed


Background – Gradient – Foreground/Background with these settings :



Floodfill your mask layer

Layers – Load/Save Mask – Load From Disk

Choose “WSL_Mask62” with these settings :



Resize your mask layer 120%

Highlight layer “Raster 5”

Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat

Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “rectangle1”

Floodfill using the gradient we created above, but un-check “invert”

Selections – None

Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise with these settings :



Add a drop shadow

Delete layer “Raster 5”

Highlight layer “Copy of Raster 5”

Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat

Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “rectangle2”

Floodfill with the gradient again, but with “invert” re-checked

Selections – None

Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise

Use the same settings we did for the previous rectangle

Add a drop shadow


Delete layer “Copy of Raster 5”


Highlight layer “Raster 2”


Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat


Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “square1”

Open up “Paper1” from the kit

Copy – Paste – Into Selection

Selections – None

Add a drop shadow


Delete layer “Raster 2”


Highlight layer “Raster 3”


Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat


Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “rectangle3”

Grab your Floodfill Tool, set your Background back to colour (#ffe3ed)

Fill your selection


Selections – None


Effects – Plugins – Xero – Iridium with these settings :



Add a drop shadow

Delete layer “Raster 3”

Highlight layer “Raster 1”

Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat

Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “square2”


Grab your Floodfill Tool, Foreground still set on colour #e58bae



Fill your selection


Selections – None


Effects – Plugins – Penta.com – Jeans with these settings :




Highlight layer “Raster 6” and rename “frame1”

Add a drop shadow

Highlight layer “Raster 4” and rename “frame2”

Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat


Selections – Modify – Contract – 8 pixels


Hit delete

Selections – None

Add a drop shadow

Layers – Arrange – Move Up

Highlight layer “Raster 7”

Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat

Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “square3”

Open up “Paper5” from the kit

Copy – Paste – Into Selection

Selections – None


Delete layer “Raster 7”


Highlight layer “square3” again


Selections – Select All – Float - Defloat


Grab your tube

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “closeup”

Selections – Invert – delete

Highlight layer “Background”


Selections – Select All


Highlight layer “closeup” again

Image – Crop To Selection

Effects – Plugins – Xero – Porcelain with these settings :



Change the Blend Mode to “Luminance (Legacy)”

Highlight layer “square3” again


Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat


Highlight layer “closeup”

Open up “wordart” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “wordart”

Arrange over your selected area

Once happy

Selections – Invert

Hit delete

Selections – None


Add a drop shadow


Highlight layer “Raster 9”


Add a drop shadow


Highlight layer “Raster 11”


Add a drop shadow


Highlight layer “Raster 14”


Add a drop shadow


Highlight layer “Raster 10”

Open up “hearts” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “hearts”

Arrange in the middle of your tag until you are happy with their placement

Drag this layer down in your Layer Palette so that they are below layer “closeup”

Add a drop shadow

Highlight layer “Raster 10” again

Open up “balloons” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “balloons”

Arrange over on the top-left of your tag like so :



Add a drop shadow

Open up “heart” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “heart”

Image – Resize – 75%

Image – Mirror

Arrange over on the bottom-left of your tag like so :



Drag this layer down in your Layer Palette so that it is below layer “Raster 9”

Highlight layer “balloons”

Open up “lips” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “lips”

Image – Resize – 65%

Image – Mirror

Arrange the lips over on the left-hand side of your tag (see mine above for guidance)

Add a drop shadow

Open up “bird” from the kit

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “bird”

Image – Resize – 45%

Image – Mirror


Arrange over on the bottom-left of your tag (see mine above for guidance)


Add a drop shadow

Grab your tube

Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “main tube”

Arrange over on the right-hand side of your tag

Add a drop shadow


Drag this layer down in your Layer Palette so that it is below layer “heart”



**If you would like to resize your tag, now is the time to do so**

Add your name and all copyrights.
Save your finished tag and you’re done!
