**Supplies Needed**
Scrapkit of choice. The one I am using is PTU, but it is for both personal and commercial use. It's called “Patriotic Party” by Sleek N Sassy Designz and you can purchase it here Thanks Jen :)
Template of choice. I'm using one by Toxic Desirez – Template 148 which you can collect here
Mask of choice. I'm using two different masks for this tag. One by Vaybs - “DBV_Mask47” which you can collect here and one by Insatiable Dreams “20InsatiableDreams” which you can collect here
Word Art of choice, or you can use mine which you can collect here

Open up your tube
Press shift+d to duplicate
Close the original
Open up the template
Press shift+d to duplicate
Close the original
Delete the “Credits” and “Background” layers
Highlight the “Rectangle1” layer
Adjust – Brightness And Contrast – Brightness/Contrast
Brightness 255
Contrast 10
Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise with these settings :
Adjust – Sharpness – Sharpen
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Selections – Modify – Contract – 4 Pixels
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Rectangle1a”
Open up “PP_Paper3” from the kit and minimize it
Change your background to pattern and choose the paper with these settings :
Angle 0
Scale 30%
Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill your selection
Selections – None
Highlight the “Rectangle1” layer
Add a drop shadow
Highlight the “Rectangle2” layer
Adjust – Brightness And Contrast – Brightness/Contrast
Brightness 255
Contrast 10
Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise
Use the same settings as before
Adjust – Sharpness – Sharpen
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Selections – Modify – Contract – 4 Pixels
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Rectangle2a”
Open up “PP_Paper1” from the kit and minimize it
Change your background to the paper

Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill the selection
Selections – None
Highlight the “Rectangle2” layer
Add a drop shadow
Highlight your “Rectangle2a” layer again
Copy – Paste your tube as new layer and rename “Tube1”
Arrange over to the right-hand side of the rectangle
Layers – Duplicate and rename “Tube1a”
Image – Mirror
Layers – Merge – Merge Down
Highlight your “Rectangle2a” layer
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Highlight your “Tube1” layer
Selections – Invert and hit delete
Selections – Select All
Image – Crop To Selection
Adjust – Hue And Saturation – Colorize
Hue 0
Saturation 0
Change the Blend Mode to “Screen”
Lower the Opacity to around 60
Highlight the “Circle” layer
Adjust – Brightness And Contrast – Brightness/Contrast
Brightness 255
Contrast 10
Adjust – Add/Remove Noise – Add Noise
Use the same settings as before
Adjust – Sharpness – Sharpen
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Selections – Modify – Contract – 4 pixels
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Circlea”
Open up “PP_Paper2” from the kit and minimize it
Change your background to the paper
Angle 0
Scale 30%
Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill the selection
**Do Not Deselect**
Copy – Paste your tube as a new layer and rename “Tube2”
Arrange over the selection
Selections – Invert and hit delete
Selections – Select All
Image – Crop To Selection
Change the Blend Mode to “Luminance (Legacy)”
Lower the Opacity to around 72
Highlight the “Circle” layer
Add a drop shadow
Highlight the top “Star1” layer
Layers – Merge – Merge Down
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Star1a”
Open up “PP_Paper5” from the kit and minimize it
Change your background to the paper
Angle 0
Scale 30
Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill the selection
Selections – None
Add a drop shadow
Delete the “Star1” layer
Highlight your “Star1a” layer again
Open up “PP_Element5” from the kit
Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “Spiral1”
Image – Resize – 20%
Arrange over on the top-left of your tag
Layers – Duplicate and rename “Spiral2”
Image – Mirror
Image – Flip
Layers – Merge – Merge Down
Add a drop shadow
Layers – Arrange – Send To Bottom
Highlight your “Stars1a” layer again
Open up “PP_Element11” from the kit
Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “Bow1”
Image – Resize – 20%
Image – Free Rotate with these settings :
Arrange over the top of the top left-hand star
Layers – Duplicate and rename “Bow2”
Image – Mirror
Image – Flip
Layers – Merge – Merge Down
Add a drop shadow
Highlight your “Tube2” layer
Open up “PP_Element2” from the kit
Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “RicRac”
Image – Resize – 20%
Arrange it towards the bottom of the circle
Highlight your “Circlea” layer
Selections – Select All – Float – Defloat
Selections – Invert
Highlight your “RicRac” layer again
Hit delete
Selections – None
Grab your Eraser Tool and clear any residual ribbon
Highlight your “Star1a” layer
Open up your Wordart
Copy – Paste – As New Layer and rename “Wordart”
Arrange it at the bottom-centre of your tag
Add a drop shadow
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Mask1”
Change your foreground and background to two colours which compliment your tag. I am using #32668b and #880404
Change your background to gradient with these settings :
Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill your layer with the newly created gradient
Layers – Load/Save Mask – Load Mask From Disk
Choose “DBV Mask 47” with these settings :
Layers – Arrange – Send To Bottom
Highlight your “Wordart” layer again
Layers – New Raster Layer and rename “Mask2”
Grab your Floodfill Tool and fill the layer with your gradient from before, same settings
Layers – Load/Save Mask – Load Mask From Disk
Choose “20InsatiableDreams” with the same settings as before
Layers – Arrange – Send To Bottom
Highlight your “Wordart” layer again
Copy – Paste your tube as a new layer and rename “MainTube”
Arrange in the middle of your tag
Add a drop shadow
Layers – Arrange – Move Down
**If you would like to resize your tag, now is the time to do so**
Add your name and all copyrights.
Save your finished tag and you’re done!
Below is another example using only elements contained in the kit :)
